The Australian Film Festivals Forum features representatives from film festivals around the country,
gathering to discuss what makes each festival unique and what each festival
is looking for when programming.
This is the chance to have all your questions answered and maximise your festival strategy.

International Film Festivals Forum

Navigating the international short film circuit can be a minefield. Knowing which festival to enter, how to enter and what the rules are is no easy task - and that’s not to mention what each festival might be looking for or how to get there. If you have questions about the international film festival circuit then this forum is for you.
Speakers include:
Calmin Borel, Festival Coordinator - Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.
Calmin has worked with Clermont-Ferrand since 2001, where his role as Festival Coordinator includes a place on the international selection committee, and coordination of The Lab, a competition dedicated to innovation.
Megan Gardiner, Professional Development Officer - Film Victoria.
Megan has been Film Victoria’s Professional Development Officer since 2005, managing the International Travel Fund, the Short Film Fund and the Attachment and Mentorship programs.

Films shot in St Kilda have been part of the St Kilda Film Festival since it began, and reflect the area’s landscape, people and culture. This program presents a series of short films shot in St Kilda, held in the heart of the place – The Dogs Bar. Enjoy a Sunday brunch while immersing yourself in short film.
